Job Opportunity

Position: CT/X-Ray Technologist

We are seeking a qualified CT/X-Ray Technologist to join our team at a critical access facility located in a city in the United States. This position involves working in a small department alongside one other technologist, providing both CT and X-ray services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT imaging including abdomen, pelvis, and specialized studies.
• Conduct X-ray imaging as required.
• Utilize advanced imaging techniques such as 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and region of interest measurement.
• Administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs as necessary.
• Ensure radiation safety and adheres to isolation precautions and PPE protocols.
• Participate in patient care across a broad age range, from neonates to geriatrics.

Shift Details:

Shift Type: Day shift (3x12 hours: 08:00 - 20:30) with block scheduling.

• Required to work every weekend: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
• Float between X-ray and CT units is required.

Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience as a CT/X-Ray technologist.
• Certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS preferred.
• Proficiency in preferred skills such as image display, post-processing, and radiation safety practices.

Work Environment:

Work settings include adult acute care, outpatient services, emergency department, ICU, and pediatric care. Technologists will support interdisciplinary teams, including respiratory services, social services, and radiology.

• Parking fees are covered; no cost for staff.
• Orientation hours: 40 hours.
• Scrub color: Any color; scrubs provided for surgical and critical care areas.
