Senior MRI Technologist - Radiation Oncology

Role Overview: The Senior MRI Advanced Modality Technologist performs advanced MRI procedures, supports department initiatives, and mentors staff and students. Responsibilities Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures. Perform studies independently, including on-call and portable exams. Ensure regulatory compliance (ACR, JC) and oversee quality assurance programs. Lead safety and quality improvement initiatives within the department. Mentor new employees and clinical students under supervision. Assist in developing department processes and enhancing patient and employee experience. Qualifications & Skills Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or MR. Associate's Degree or equivalent from trade school. 2+ years of experience in MRI or related imaging modalities. Preferred: MRI licensing, experience with Siemens MRI machines, and additional certifications like CPR or IV therapy.
