About Us:
We are a busy, reputable garage door and gate company based in Poway, CA, specializing in custom high-end wood and steel garage doors and gates. Our team is passionate about craftsmanship, quality, and customer satisfaction. We’re growing and looking for a skilled Woodworker / Carpenter / Fabricator to join our workshop team and help bring our custom designs to life.

 

  Position Summary:
As a key member of our fabrication team, you will work with experienced craftsman to build custom garage doors and gates from raw materials based on detailed plans and specifications. This is a hands-on role that requires precision, creativity, and a strong understanding of woodworking.

 

  Key Responsibilities:

• Construct custom wood and composite garage doors and gates from start to finish
• Read and interpret detailed shop drawings and blueprints
• Use a variety of woodworking tools and machinery (saws, planers, jointers, sanders, etc.)
• Perform custom trim, joinery, and assembly work
• Collaborate with the design and installation teams to ensure high-quality results
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment 

Qualifications:

 

• 3+ years of experience in woodworking, carpentry, or fabrication
• Experience with custom door or gate building preferred
• Skilled with hand tools, power tools, and woodshop equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Bonus Skills (Not Required):

 

• Welding or metal fabrication experience
• CNC routing or CAD design experience
• Experience installing garage doors or gates

Schedule & Compensation:

• Full-time, Monday–Friday
• Competitive pay based on experience
• Benefits available after probationary period
