This is a non-exempt, hourly position eligible for overtime in accordance with applicable law. Use voice-picking technology to accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders Assemble and verify orders for accuracy and quality before shipment Load outbound shipments and process orders using the Infor/CSD/WMS platform Receiving & Inventory Control Unload and inspect inbound merchandise for accuracy and quality Check in products against purchase orders and apply SKU labels Move, sort, and store materials in designated locations for efficient retrieval Safely operate sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers after successful completion of training and OSHA-required certification Transport, stack, and store pallets following all safety guidelines Inventory Management Assist with physical inventory and scheduled cycle counts Identify and report inventory discrepancies Maintain organized storage areas to support operational efficiency Safety & Housekeeping Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Wear required PPE including steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and gloves Follow all safety policies and report hazards or equipment issues immediately Work safely in indoor, outdoor, hot, and cold environments General Responsibilities Follow company policies and supervisor instructions Collaborate with team members to meet productivity goals Perform additional duties as assigned Maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude What You Bring Required Qualifications Education & Experience High school diploma or GED preferred Minimum 3 months of warehouse experience or equivalent training/education Training provided for candidates new to warehousing Skills & Abilities Basic English reading and writing skills sufficient to understand safety instructions, labels, and operating procedures Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused Physical Requirements The physical requirements represent the essential functions of the role. Forklift operation experience (sit-down, cherry picker, reach truck) Voice-picking system experience Lumber or building product industry experience Receiving and shipping experience Inventory control experience WMS familiarity Previous experience in a distribution or warehouse environment Work Environment This position is in a warehouse distribution center with the following conditions: Frequent use of hands and feet for grasping, lifting, securing loads, and operating equipment controls Regular lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.; occasional lifting up to 90 lbs. Frequent pushing and pulling of truck side-curtain walls and use of winches and ratchet straps for load securement Extended periods of standing and walking during scheduled shifts. Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, gripping, and handling materials Occasional climbing, squatting, and kneeling to complete tasks Extended operation of forklifts with frequent mounting/dismounting Work at varying heights when placing or retrieving product from racking Maintain balance and spatial awareness while operating forklifts in tight aisles Exposure to bright lights, loud noise, dust, fumes, and varying temperatures Schedule Full-time position Day shift (typical warehouse hours) Overtime may be required during peak periods About Our Companies Parksite Parksite is a premier sales, marketing, and distribution company serving the building industry with interior and exterior products.
