Schedule : Day Shift working 40-hours per week. Must be willing to fill in on evenings/overnights/weekends if staffing needs arise.

Requirements:

MUST HAVE EPIC experience.
Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy Degree.
Pharm D REQUIRED
Current Colorado Pharmacy license in good standing.
BLS (American Heart Association)
ACLS (American Heart Association)
Flu Vaccine REQUIRED - NO EXEMPTIONS ACCEPTED - required Oct 1st through April 1.
Demonstrated leadership in both pharmacy operations and clinical pharmacy services
Strong regulatory knowledge, clinical judgment, communication, and teaching skills.

Seeking an experienced Pharmacist Manager to lead inpatient pharmacy operations in a hospital setting. This day-shift leadership role is responsible for overseeing medication management services, ensuring regulatory compliance, supervising pharmacy staff, maintaining medication safety standards, and supporting clinical pharmacy initiatives. The position also requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and pharmacy service quality.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily inpatient pharmacy operations to ensure safe, effective, and cost-conscious medication management
• Develop, implement, and enforce pharmacy policies, procedures, and medication-use protocols
• Maintain formulary management and ensure compliance with medication storage, preparation, and distribution standards
• Monitor medication inventory levels, procurement processes, and controlled substance accountability
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate pharmacy personnel while supporting ongoing professional development
• Create staff schedules, monitor department workloads, and maintain appropriate staffing levels
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational regulations governing pharmacy services
• Collaborate with leadership and clinical teams to implement quality improvement initiatives and strategic pharmacy programs
• Participate in organizational committees and contribute to departmental and hospital-wide goals
• Provide staff pharmacist coverage as needed to support operational requirements

Additional Requirements

• Must be willing to provide coverage on evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays as operational needs require
• Traveler candidates must meet applicable distance requirements from the work location
• Active state licensure must be in place before assignment start
