Key Qualifications:

• Current licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in Texas
• Previous experience working in school or pediatric settings preferred
• Familiarity with evidence-based speech-language intervention strategies
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong organizational abilities and documentation proficiency
• Ability to adapt and work effectively with diverse student populations

• Conduct direct speech and language therapy activities under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
• Assist with student assessments, screenings, and progress monitoring
• Prepare materials and adapt classroom activities to meet individualized student needs
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Support generalization of learned communication skills across school environments
• Educate and inform families and caregivers on strategies to reinforce progress
