RN: NICU

Job Description: Join a Level 2 trauma center as an RN on a travel contract in Fort Worth, Texas. This assignment places you in a fast-paced acute-care setting where you’ll support high-acuity work and care for a wide range of patient needs, including premature infants. The unit also features continuous clinical activity supported by a busy multidisciplinary team. Shift structure is 12-hour nights (1845–0715). You’ll be part of a 36-hour weekly commitment, bringing consistency and care during peak overnight hours. One unique requirement for this role: all RNs must live at least 100 miles from the facility and submit an active driver’s license with the submission packet. To be prepared on day one, NRP and BLS certifications are required prior to start. RN certification is preferred, and NRP-aligned readiness will help you feel confident in the rhythms of the unit. Weather: Expect warm, sunny days with mild evenings and occasional humidity. Rain showers can pop up, so it’s a good idea to plan for variable weather while staying flexible.
