Senior CNO Developer

Senior CNO Software Developer Nightwing provides technically advanced cyber, data operations, systems integration, and intelligence mission support services to meet customers’ most demanding challenges. Our capabilities include cyber space operations, cyber defense and resiliency, vulnerability research, ubiquitous technical surveillance, data intelligence, lifecycle mission enablement, and software modernization. Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement custom software tools and techniques primarily using Python, C++, and Java for Windows and Linux platforms. Diagnose issues and debug customer problems using industry‑standard tools and proprietary toolsets. Perform end‑to‑end design, development, testing, and documentation of software products. Use debuggers, disassemblers, and other diagnostic software; develop and maintain toolchains and helper utilities. Attend design meetings, mentor junior developers, and conduct code reviews. Collaborate with other developers and customer personnel to solve problems and communicate requirements, status, and essential information. Technical Requirements 6–10 years of experience programming in C/C++ (or similar) and Python. In‑depth understanding of network protocols and OS internals. Experience with binary analysis tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, or similar. Familiarity with modern software engineering concepts and CNO techniques. Knowledge of software security technologies such as ASLR and DEP. Experience with additional architectures (ARM, RISC‑PPC, etc.) a plus. Ability to gather requirements, design solutions with minimal oversight, and present development plans and forecasts. Security Clearance Top Secret/SCI + CI Poly required. Must be willing to obtain and maintain clearance. Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Compensation & Benefits The salary for this position ranges from $99,000 to $206,000, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and expertise.
