Registered Nurse – High-risk Maternity

Schedule: 12-hour nights, 18:45–07:15

Assignment Details: Contract length: 13–26 weeks

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in high-volume obstetrical settings; 3 years preferred.
• AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced certification preferred, or C-EFM in lieu of AWHONN.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
• BLS/BCLS certification.
• Experience with circulating for C-sections preferred.
• Proficiency in sterile vaginal exams and immediate newborn care.
• Familiarity with high-risk antepartum, labor and delivery triage, and neonatal resuscitation.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetrical patients in various stages of labor and postpartum.
• Monitor maternal and fetal health during labor and delivery.
• Conduct assessments and provide interventions for high-risk obstetric patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Participate in patient education and support for families.

Compliance / Notes:

• Flu vaccine required; medical/religious exemptions only.
• Pre-hire testing must be completed within 48 hours after signing.
• RTO policy allows for a maximum of 7 days, approved in advance. Must work 2 of 3 major holidays; no RTO during the first week.
