TITLE: Staff Physical Therapist

DEPARTMENT: Health

CLASSIFICATION: Exempt

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct physical therapy assessments to develop individual treatment plans
• Hands-on therapy and exercises to promote mobility, pain relief, strength, balance, and prevent disability
• Provide education and instructions to patients, care givers, and families for treatment plans and home care
• Establishing home exercise programs to ensure patient progress in treatment plan
• Set functional, measurable goals and modify therapy based on patient progress
• Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans to meet patient needs
• Work with other medical staff for coordination of care
• Electronic record charting for continuity of care
• Clinical and administrative supervision of Physical Therapy Assistants
• Delegate and supervise responsibilities assigned to Physical Therapy Assistants
• Participates in operational aspects of the department and maintains department performance
• Clean and maintain daily equipment and seek service when needed
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must possess DPT from an accredited institution
• Prefer 2 years of experience in private or clinical practice
• Proficient in physical therapy techniques and modalities
• Understanding of orthopedic and pediatric conditions
• Compliance with all licensing standards
• Must have current BLS certification or able to obtain within 3 months of hire
• Must submit and pass a federal background check.
• Prefer experience working with Native American populations.
• Comply with all HIPAA and privacy standards

SUPERVISION:

• Supervised by Physical Therapist

SALARY LEVEL:

• Annual Salary Range: $90,230.40 - $128,544.00
