RN Oncology

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specializing in Radiation Oncology for a travel assignment in Minocqua, WI. This role involves working in an ambulatory outpatient setting, focusing on a variety of cancer patient care including prostate, breast, lung, and other cancers. We are looking for a skilled and compassionate nurse eager to join a dynamic healthcare team.

Key responsibilities of the RN Oncology Travel include:

Provide care for patients with prostate, head & neck, breast, and lung cancers, among others
Perform peripheral IV insertion and access/de-access Power Ports
Administer contrast infusion during CT and manage reactions
Assess radiation side effects and educate patients effectively
Collaborate with an interprofessional healthcare team

Requirements of the RN Oncology Travel include:

Valid RN license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Experience with peripheral IV insertion and Power Port management
Understanding of contrast reaction and radiation side effect management
Experience in an outpatient oncology setting preferred
