Job Summary:
A registered nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) is needed in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The position involves caring for laboring, pre-term, postpartum obstetric patients and newborns, including performing vaginal and cesarean deliveries as well as neonatal resuscitation. Candidates must bring their Indiana RN license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license, minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, cervical exams, and fetal monitor interpretation, ACLS (American Heart Association), NRP, and BLS (American Heart Association) certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EPIC documentation, Pyxis medication management, Hospira IV pumps, and GE Corometric fetal monitoring equipment.
• Additional Information: The position involves floating to other units/departments when required. Orientation will be Monday through Friday during the first two weeks, with mandatory attendance for all days. Equipment used includes electronic health records, medication systems, and fetal monitoring tools.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
