Profession: DEXA Technologist Specialty: Bone Density (DEXA) Location: Portland Job Type (Per Diem/Travel Contract): Travel Contract Hourly Pay Rate: $52.00/hour Shift: Days – 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM–5:00 PM) Start Date: July 27, 2026 Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of experience First-time travelers accepted Current and proficient Bone Density (DEXA) exam experience is a hard-stop requirement Position is for a DEXA Technologist, not a DEXA Technician X-ray duties are not required License Required: Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiography License Certifications Required:

ARRT (R)

AHA BLS

First-timers accepted: Yes Skills Required: Bone Density (DEXA) examinations Bone mineral density (BMD) testing Patient positioning for DEXA studies Radiation safety Image acquisition and quality assurance Epic EMR documentation Independent workflow in a bone density clinic Facility Highlights: Short-Term Acute Care Hospital 418 staffed beds Epic charting system 1:1 patient ratio Free parking Scrubs: Any color (OR/L&D scrubs provided)
