Job Title: Reporting Engineer Consultant (Power BI) Location: Phoenix Job Type: Full-Time About the Role We are seeking a skilled and experienced Reporting Engineer Consultant specializing in Power BI to join our dynamic team. As a consultant, you will play a crucial role in transforming complex data sets into strategic insights, enabling our clients to make data-driven decisions. This position requires a deep understanding of data analysis, visualization, and dashboard development using Power BI. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into models and dashboards using Power BI. Design, build, and implement interactive reports and visualizations to provide actionable insights and facilitate informed decision-making. Develop and maintain complex Power BI data models, ensuring data accuracy, performance optimization, and scalability. Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to integrate data from various sources into Power BI. Provide expert guidance and support to clients in leveraging Power BI tools to meet their business needs. Conduct training sessions and workshops to empower teams with the knowledge to use Power BI effectively. Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and industry trends to continuously enhance reporting capabilities. Qualifications Proven experience as a Reporting Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Power BI. Strong proficiency in Power BI, including the development of complex dashboards, data modeling, and DAX queries. Excellent understanding of data warehousing concepts and database management. Solid experience in ETL processes and integrating data from various systems and sources. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse teams and stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Experience in consulting or working with clients from various industries. Familiarity with other BI tools and technologies is a plus (e.g., Tableau, SQL, Azure).
