Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Architect with a strong background in Application Architecture to join our dynamic team at ServiceNow. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, high performance applications. This role requires a deep understanding of application frameworks, cloud technologies, and best practices in software development.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop application architecture solutions that meet business requirements and align with organizational goals.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to define application requirements and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
Lead architectural reviews and provide guidance on application design and development best practices.
Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to improve application performance and scalability.
Mentor and guide junior architects and developers in application architecture principles and practices.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the application architecture remains innovative and competitive.
Document architectural decisions, design patterns, and best practices for future reference.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong expertise in Application Architecture, including design patterns, frameworks, and methodologies.
Proficient in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and microservices architecture.
Experience with API design and integration, including RESTful and SOAP services.
Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with front end technologies (React, Angular, Vue.js).
Experience in enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman).
Understanding of data architecture and database design principles.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
10 15 years of experience in application architecture and software development.
Proven experience in leading architectural initiatives and delivering high quality software solutions.
Relevant certifications in cloud architecture or application development are a plus.
