Professional Staff Nurse Expert, Perianesthesia

UPMC is seeking a Professional Staff Nurse Expert, Perianesthesia at UPMC Harrisburg. In this role, you will provide advanced, patient-centered care for adults before and after anesthesia, ensuring safe preparation, monitoring, and recovery. Responsibilities include continuous assessment, hemodynamic and airway monitoring, IV therapy, pain and sedation management, and patient/family education. You will collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and interdisciplinary teams, precept and mentor nurses, and contribute to evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and a culture of safety within our mission-driven, academic health system.
