Supervising Pharmacist

The Supervising Pharmacist is responsible for overseeing daily pharmacy operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, accurate medication dispensing, and high-quality patient care. This role offers the opportunity to help establish and support pharmacy operations in a patient-focused environment while leading workflow, staff support, and medication management processes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Verify prescriptions and ensure accurate, safe, and efficient medication dispensing
• Supervise pharmacy staff and support effective workflow management
• Provide patient counseling and medication education
• Manage pharmacy inventory, including medication ordering and stock monitoring
• Maintain quality standards and promote a patient-centered pharmacy environment
• Support the development and improvement of pharmacy operations and procedures

Qualifications:

• Active New York State Pharmacist License required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
• Knowledge of pharmacy operations, regulations, and medication safety standards
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a low-volume, patient-focused pharmacy setting
