Job Details Specialty: ED – Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/13/2026 Duration: 7 weeks Hours: 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Shift Pattern: 3 x 12‑hour rotating shifts with variable times: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, 11:00 AM–11:00 PM, 3:00 PM–3:00 AM, and 7:00 PM–7:00 AM; minimum 36 hours per week Location: San Francisco, CA Certificates required: California Registered Nurse (RN) licensure; BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; 1 year of emergency department RN experience; Valid Nursys verification uploaded within the last 2 weeks; applicable certifications with valid expiration dates; two references obtained within the last year Preferred experience: EMR systems (preference for Epic), community hospital or trauma experience, familiarity with patients presenting with abdominal pain, acute psychosis, arterial line management, burns, ventilated patient care, and other critical emergency procedures Special skills: Abdominal pain management, arterial line care, burn treatment, ventilated patient care, chest tube management, IV sedation, stroke and STEMI certification, trauma, toxicology, and psychiatric care skills On‑site orientation: approximately 72 hours; e‑learning modules Labs: complete within 3–5 days of contract signing; 7‑year work history verification Maximum consecutive time off (RTO): 7 days per contract; holiday guidelines apply Benefits Private housing or generous housing allowance Comprehensive health insurance with prescription coverage Dependent health insurance with prescription coverage Competitive salaries Referral bonuses Travel reimbursement 401(k) retirement plan Direct deposit/free checking Unlimited free CE credits Pay Package Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
