We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Analyst to support a short-term Contract assignment focused on resolving overdue invoicing issues for a key customer in East Arkansas about 1 hour outside of Memphis. This role centers on reviewing outstanding receivables, investigating billing discrepancies, and coordinating with both internal partners and the customer to bring open items to resolution. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable managing a high volume of transactions while maintaining accuracy and momentum.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate a large volume of past-due invoices and prioritize open items requiring action.

• Examine order records, billing documents, and related account details to uncover the source of payment or matching issues.

• Use customer-facing supplier platforms to compare invoice information against purchase orders and supporting documentation.

• Record findings clearly and determine appropriate next steps to resolve mismatched or disputed transactions.

• Process corrections through invoice updates, credit adjustments, or collaboration with the customer to align purchasing records.

• Partner with sales and cross-functional internal teams to clear outstanding receivables efficiently.

• Analyze spreadsheet data to spot repeated issues, trends, and breakdowns affecting invoice resolution.

• Contribute to reducing the backlog of aging receivables and improving day-to-day accounts receivable workflows.

Contract Duration: 1-2 months

Start Date: next week

pay : $25.20/hr

Training for 3-4 days on site in Paragould and then would work 100% remote
