This role is responsible for leading outsourced finance and accounting engagements for clients across a variety of industries, serving as a trusted advisor to improve accounting operations, financial processes, and overall business performance.The ideal candidate brings a strong combination of operational accounting leadership, strategic advisory capabilities, and business development experience. This individual will oversee the delivery of high-quality client service, provide actionable financial and operational guidance, and help drive growth of the practice through new and expanded client relationships.This is a hybrid position with 2–3 days in the office each week.ResponsibilitiesLead outsourced finance and accounting engagements for multiple clients, including oversight of day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, AP/AR, payroll coordination, cash management, and financial reportingServe as a strategic advisor to clients by identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, reporting capabilities, financial operations, and overall business efficiencyProvide accounting and finance advisory services related to operational best practices, process optimization, organizational scalability, and financial managementReview financial statements, reconciliations, and general ledger activity to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting standardsDevelop and implement standardized accounting processes, workflows, and reporting procedures across client engagementsPresent financial results, key performance indicators, and operational insights to client leadership teamsBuild strong client relationships and serve as a trusted business partner to executives and stakeholdersLead, mentor, and develop team members while fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growthManage engagement economics, staffing, timelines, and quality of service delivery across multiple client engagementsCollaborate with internal tax, audit, and advisory teams to deliver integrated client solutionsSupport practice growth initiatives through business development activities, including identifying new service opportunities, expanding existing client relationships, participating in networking activities, and contributing to proposal and sales effortsLeverage and develop professional networks to cultivate prospective client relationships and drive new business opportunitiesEnsure compliance with Crowe’s risk management, independence, and quality standardsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree preferredCPA license preferred; alternative credentials such as CMA, Chartered Accountant (CA), or a Master’s degree in Accounting or related field, combined with significant relevant experience, will also be considered8+ years of experience in client accounting services, outsourced accounting, public accounting, or related finance and accounting advisory servicesDemonstrated experience managing outsourced accounting or finance operations for multiple clientsStrong accounting advisory and financial operations experience, including process improvement and operational optimization initiativesProven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to business leadersDemonstrated business development experience, including identifying, pursuing, and expanding client opportunitiesExisting professional network and relationship-building experience preferredStrong technical accounting knowledge, including U.S. GAAP; IFRS knowledge preferredExperience with accounting and ERP systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platformsAdvanced Microsoft Excel and financial analysis skillsStrong communication, leadership, organizational, and project management abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-service environmentTravel up to 30% as needed#LI-JB1 #AccountingAndFinance #AccountingConsulting #ClientAccounting Services #GoCroweWe expect the candidate to uphold Crowe’s values of Care, Trust, Courage, and Stewardship. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
