For over 30 years, we have proudly supplied Hawaii's leading grocery stores, drug stores, convenience retailers, and other major accounts with a diverse portfolio of products, including modern nicotine products, grocery items, candy, snacks, toys, and general merchandise.

We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable Full Time & Part-Time Merchandiser to join our team. This position averages 20 hours (PT) and 40 hours (FT) per week and primarily services customer accounts during Monday through Friday daytime hours . This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in sales, merchandising, or distribution. Previous experience is welcome but not required—we are happy to provide comprehensive training to the right candidate.

Position Overview
As a Merchandiser, you will serve as an important representative of TransPac Group, ensuring our products are well-stocked, properly displayed, and professionally presented at customer locations. You will build strong relationships with retail partners, maintain store merchandising standards, and help support the growth of our product lines through excellent customer service and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with existing customers while developing rapport with prospective accounts.
• Deliver customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Merchandise and stock products to company standards, ensuring shelves and displays remain organized, attractive, and fully replenished.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify opportunities to improve product placement and sales.
• Take photos of store displays and provide market observations and reports to management.
• Place customer orders and actively introduce and promote new products and promotional items.
• Process product returns, credits, and customer claims accurately.
• Complete store resets, surveys, pricing updates, and other merchandising projects as assigned.
• Represent TransPac Group with professionalism, reliability, and exceptional customer service during every customer interaction.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, retail, delivery, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Reliable personal vehicle available for daily travel between customer locations.
• Reliable smartphone with internet access, web browser, and email capabilities for reporting and communication.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to accountability and professionalism.
