Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care across a large, high-acuity Emergency Department serving a broad range of conditions and age groups
• Manage a patient assignment within established nursing ratios, typically 1:4, adjusting based on care area and acuity
• Provide care within a Level 2 Pediatric, STEMI, and Stroke-designated facility with board-certified ED attending coverage 24/7
• Fulfill weekend shift requirements, including a minimum of 3 shifts within every 4-week period
• May occasionally be scheduled for mid-shift coverage (15:00–03:00); shift cycling from nights to mids will not occur
• Chart accurately and efficiently using EPIC

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Nebraska RN license required; pending license accepted if not yet in hand at time of submission)
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Current TNCC certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a high-acuity or tertiary referral Emergency Department setting
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system
• Experience as a travel nurse; first-time travelers are not accepted for this assignment
