What You’ll Do: Lead, mentor, and scale the engineering team. Set the technical vision and oversee system architecture, design, and implementation of frontend, backend and infrastructure systems. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including product team, research team, and design team to deliver scalable and reliable systems. Attend key customer meetings. Stay close to the codebase – actively participate in architecture discussions, conduct design and code reviews, and contribute code when appropriate. Foster a high‑performance engineering culture grounded in ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement. Drive hiring, onboarding, and career development for engineers across the team. What We’re Looking For: Master’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field. Minimum 5 years (60 months) of experience in engineering management or a comparable occupation. Proven experience leading and scaling frontend, backend and infrastructure engineering teams, ideally in fast‑paced startup or high‑growth environments. Strong systems design skills with hands‑on experience building distributed systems, cloud‑native infrastructure, or performance‑critical backend systems. Technical expertise in at least 2 of the following backend programming languages (Go, C++, Python, Rust). Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and modern DevOps practices. Excellent leadership and communication skills with a track record of growing high‑performing teams. A builder mindset: pragmatic, low‑ego, and deeply collaborative.
