The Activity Assistant is responsible for ensuring that residents have engaging, enjoyable activities to participate in. Some of their day‑to‑day job duties include: Brainstorming ideas for activities Soliciting feedback from participants to identify what worked well and what areas of improvement exist Keeping detailed records of activities to track participation Help keep residents entertained Create opportunities for socialization, exercise and creative thinking that can improve resident quality of life Provide opportunities for learning and enrichment Benefits when choosing a career with Distinctive: Medical, Dental and Vision benefits Paid Time Off 401k Retirement Plan & Life Insurance Team Member Assistance Program Education and Experience Creative thinking skills Organizational skills Interpersonal skills to interact positively with other staff Problem solving skills to overcome obstacles before or during activities Written communication skills to compile participant surveys and activity reports High School Diploma or equivalent required.
