Medical Records Technician

Job Title Medical Records Technician Duties Makes the final determination that the record is accurate, complete, and reflects sufficient data to justify the diagnosis and warrant the treatment and end results without infringing on the decisions concerning a physician's clinical judgment. Archives and retrieves electronic records in accordance with federal records schedules and IHS records lifecycle management guidance. Receives and sorts documents in preparation for scanning, reviews and cross-references the electronic health record (EHR) system for patient identification.
