Refrigeration Technician II

As a Refrigeration Technician II, you'll perform mid-range diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance, and most repairs and replacements. Key responsibilities include: troubleshooting, maintenance, repair and replacement, welding, diagnosing and repairing electrical components, oil leaks, fuel systems, refrigeration systems, engines, charging systems, exhaust systems, starting systems, and cycle sentry electronics. You will also perform Refrigeration Tech I duties. The responsibilities and essential functions outlined above describe the general nature and level of work assigned to this position. Qualifications and key requirements include: 2+ years of experience as a mechanic, a high skilled level of welding, computer skills, ability to read schematic diagrams, ability to perform intermediate repairs, work in a team environment, obtain the minimum expected tool set, HS diploma or GED or equivalent education, current CDL, OEM certification in basic refrigeration, electrical, and welding/soldering, certification in AC refrigerant 608, certification in AC repair, complete TMT training, and meet H-E-B driving qualifications. Physical demands include lifting 100 lbs and carrying a distance of 5 ft, work sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and in a prone position, work with hands over head, and climb; work from a ladder.
