Family Nurse Practitioner

Family Nurse Practitioner – Winston-Salem, NC KidsStreet Urgent Care is growing and looking to hire a fast, fun, and friendly Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our team full-time. You will provide patient-focused care and help patients feel better quickly in an urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine setting. This opportunity welcomes early-career FNPs, including brand new graduates. Overview After on-site orientation and training you will work with experienced providers in one of our clinics, receive a pediatric urgent care course, and have a provider on-call for decision-making support as you grow into the role. You will have the full scope of practice, treating patients from infants to geriatrics, and lead a small team of medical assistants. Responsibilities Diagnose and treat upper respiratory issues (cold, flu, strep, COVID, etc.) Perform minor procedures (toenail removal, foreign object removal) First aid and suturing Splinting and general orthopedic evaluation/management Review of X‑rays and over‑read by Radiologist General dermatology and eye problems EKG interpretation Emergency management skills General GYN expertise Telemedicine care Occupational medicine Treat children of all ages Schedule Clinic hours: Monday–Friday 8:00 am–8:00 pm; Saturday and Sunday 9:00 am–9:00 pm. Work a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend. Example: Week 1 – Monday (ON), Tuesday (ON), Wednesday (OFF), Thursday (OFF), Friday (ON), Saturday (ON), Sunday (ON). Week 2 – Monday (OFF), Tuesday (OFF), Wednesday (ON), Thursday (ON), Friday (OFF), Saturday (OFF), Sunday (OFF).
