Maintenance Manager

We are seeking an experienced, hands on Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team at a food manufacturing and distribution facility. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of production equipment, packaging lines, facility systems, and material-handling equipment.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a food production or food processing environment, with a strong understanding of production line equipment, mechanical and electrical systems, and preventive maintenance programs. This role requires a leader who can manage a team of 6 or more employees, minimize equipment downtime, maintain a safe working environment, and ensure equipment operates reliably in accordance with food safety and sanitation requirements.

salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year

work hours: 10 AM - 6 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance operations for food production equipment, processing machinery, packaging lines, conveyors, and facility systems.
• Manage the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and upkeep of production and distribution equipment.
• Develop, implement, and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce unplanned downtime.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and coordinate timely repairs to minimize production interruptions.
• Identify recurring equipment failures, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain equipment performance, reliability, and operational readiness to support production and distribution schedules.
• Oversee maintenance of refrigeration, compressed air, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and other facility infrastructure as applicable.
