Program Cost Analyst

Program Cost Analyst As a cost analyst on our Navy team, you will transform program requirements into data‑driven, defensible cost estimates that influence how hundreds of millions of dollars are allocated across the defense system life cycle. Responsibilities Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and subject matter experts to plan and execute cost data collection. Normalize and analyze data, develop baseline and alternative cost estimates. Apply analytical techniques such as regression analysis, learning curves, risk and uncertainty analysis to produce credible cost positions. Model and communicate results to senior leaders using data analysis and visualization tools. Ensure projects are funded and executed on time with resources aligned to mission needs. Qualifications 10+ years of experience with cost estimating, cost analysis, or financial analysis. Experience with data collection and cost model development. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and core competencies such as Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and inflation or escalation factors. Experience supporting government procurement and acquisition processes. Secret clearance required. Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics. Preferred: Experience with management and business development; Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Crystal Ball, Python, R, or AI tools; leading a team, training junior staff, or project management. Ability to multitask, work independently, and possess excellent verbal and written communication as well as teamwork skills. ICEAA Certified Cost Estimator and Analyst (CCE/A) preferred. Compensation Projected annual compensation range: $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 USD.
