The Front Desk Host at a Hyatt Place hotel is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience by providing efficient, friendly, and professional service. This role serves as the first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in creating a welcoming environment while handling check-in, check-out, and guest inquiries.

  • Handle check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately
  • Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely manner
  • Resolve guest issues with a focus on service recovery and satisfaction
• Operations
  • Manage reservations, room assignments, and billing procedures
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all guest information is up to date
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness and quality standards
  • Monitor lobby activity and maintain a clean, organized front desk area
• Customer Service
  • Deliver personalized service aligned with Hyatt brand standards
  • Anticipate guest needs and exceed expectations when possible
  • Promote hotel amenities and services to enhance the guest experience
• Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Communicate effectively during shift changes and team interactions

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel systems (preferred)
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
