Technical Editor
The Opportunity:

Edit technical documentation, user manuals, and sales and training literature. Apply basic principles, theories, and concepts, including limited industry knowledge. Solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity, and refer more complex issues to higher levels. Work under direct supervision.

You Have:

• Experience writing and editing compelling technical documentation such as reports, letters, and briefing materials
• Knowledge of using Microsoft Office programs such as Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
• Ability to edit content from other contributors to ensure consistent voice, compelling and compliant messaging, and lack of spelling, typographical, and grammatical errors
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience using and modifying styles, cross references, and Table of Contents development in Microsoft Word
• Experience working with technical and functional delivery teams on technical documentation
• Knowledge of government information systems or space information systems
• Ability to manage a varied workload and balance numerous priorities while meeting tight deadlines
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in English, Literature, or Communications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $43,700.00 to $89,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
