Personal Care Aide
University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide who is fluent in Albanian to provide exceptional in-home care to clients in Clinton Township, MI. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities to promote their independence and enhance their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide support with mobility and transfer techniques as needed.
- Help with light housekeeping duties, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
- Communicate effectively with clients and their families in Albanian to ensure comfort and understanding.
- Report any changes in clients' health or behavior to supervisors promptly.
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Fluency in Albanian is required to effectively communicate with our clients.
- Previous experience in personal care or a caregiving role is plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and assisting clients with mobility.
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient nature.
