Overview American Traveler is hiring a Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift assignment at a 240‑bed acute care hospital in Lone Tree, Colorado. Assignment Details Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/22/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours nights (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) Employment Type: Travel Description A Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 2 years of experience is needed for a night shift travel assignment in a 240‑bed acute care hospital. The role involves working across ED, Peds, ICU, NICU, and Med/Surg settings with an average patient load of 30–40 points per shift and primary ventilator use of the Hamilton G5. Responsibilities Administer treatments, ventilator setup, and intubation assistance Perform arterial blood gases (ABGs) and provide patient and staff education Lead ventilator liberation in NICU and ICU settings Qualifications Active RRT credential and licensure required; license required if applicable Minimum 6 months of current acute care hospital RRT experience in the last 6 months Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (AHA or ARC accepted; certificates cannot expire within 30 days of assignment start) CRT or NBRC credential required Experience in PICU and/or NICU preferred SSN (US only) and date of birth required for consideration No 90‑day or longer gaps in work history in the past 12 months One professional reference required Additional Information Staff team consists of 15 RTs with minimum staffing of 3 per shift (day and night) Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted Collaborative, team‑player personality is a strong fit for this unit Compensation & Benefits Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend to be determined.
