About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Strategic Finance to take on a pivotal role in the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial planning, forecasting, and business partnering, with a strong focus on the intersection of finance, strategy, and operations. This high-impact position involves leading the strategic finance function, owning the annual operating plan, long-range plan, and rolling forecast, and building and maintaining integrated financial models. The role also includes partnering with department leaders to drive resource allocation and shaping the company's most significant capital and operating decisions. To excel in this role, candidates must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting, with at least 3 years in a high-growth, R&D-intensive company. Exceptional financial modeling skills, a track record of supporting real business decisions, and direct experience in fundraising, board reporting, or M&A transactions are essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage with executives, the board, and investors. A player-coach mindset is required, with the ability to build and lead a high-performing team. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is necessary, and an MBA, CFA, or CPA is a bonus.
