Senior Specialist Nonqualified Operations

The Senior Nonqualified Operations Specialist is responsible for accurate and efficient processing and quality reviewing of complex participant-level transactions on nonqualified retirement accounts recorded in Metrix and Pega systems. The role also supports the entire Nonqualified Operations team through workflow coordination, resource maintenance, and reporting. Responsibilities Maintain departmental productivity and quality goals. Process and quality review complex transactions, including owning a designated book of business for highly visible and/or complex clients. Serve as subject‑matter expert (SME) for product and procedure, supporting Associate and Specialist roles, Business Analysts and Managers. Ensure all work (transactional and reporting) is completed timely according to contractual SLAs. Act as point of contact for internal/external audits and as SME for risk and control items. Design clear, respectful communications and presentations and deliver them across multiple audiences. Serve as primary contact for internal business partners. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business (or related field) or equivalent work experience. 3–4 years of non‑qualified plan related experience in operational processing. Demonstrated understanding of the non‑qualified product and industry, including strong working knowledge of 409a guidelines. Knowledge of Empower services, products, policies and procedures and their impact on processing. Demonstrated excellence and attention to detail in complex transaction processing. Experience conducting quality review. Advanced decision‑making and analytical skills. Advanced Excel skills, including formatting, macros and VLOOKUP. Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills. Detail‑oriented with strong analytical research ability. Location & Remote Requirements Remote and hybrid positions require reliable high‑speed internet with a wired connection and a suitable home workspace. Compensation Base salary range: $55,300.00 – $76,075.00. Non‑sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program.
