Client Relationship Officer

Location: Field and Office-Based (Hybrid) – Target regions across MetroWest Boston, Cape Cod, Southern NH, and Coastal Maine Reports to: Managing Principal About Argonautica Private Wealth Management, Inc. Argonautica Private Wealth Management is a SEC-registered investment advisor serving a select group of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families. Our approach is grounded in disciplined investment management, thoughtful planning, and long-term client relationships built on trust and discretion. The Opportunity We are seeking a seasoned Client Relationship Officer to lead new client acquisition. This senior, highly autonomous, and entrepreneurial role focuses on sourcing, cultivating, and closing relationships with high-net-worth individuals and families with $5MM+ in net worth. This is a pure business-building role with substantial economic upside tied directly to results. The right candidate will view this as an opportunity to build a meaningful revenue stream within a firm positioned for long-term growth. The ideal candidate brings a proven ability to attract new clients to the firm, and, ideally, an established network within our target markets. This role is best suited for a motivated self-starter who thrives in a performance-driven environment and maintains a strong focus on results. The successful candidate will play a central role throughout the client lifecycle—from initial outreach and business development to long-term relationship management after onboarding. Key Responsibilities Prospect & Originate New Business Identify, target, and engage high-net-worth individuals and families with $5MM+ in net worth across the target market Develop and execute personal business development strategies across MetroWest Boston, Cape Cod, Southern NH, and Coastal Maine Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects Leverage centers of influence (attorneys, CPAs, consultants, etc.) for referrals Lead discovery conversations, present firm capabilities, and close new client relationships Effectively communicate the firm’s value proposition, investment philosophy, and service model Develop trusted, long-term client relationships by maintaining regular communication, responsiveness, and a high level of service throughout the relationship lifecycle Serve as Lead Relationship Manager Following onboarding, serve as the primary relationship manager for clients introduced to the firm, coordinating with internal advisory and investment teams to deliver an exceptional client experience Maintain ongoing engagement with clients to identify evolving needs, strengthen relationships, and support long-term asset retention and growth Represent the firm at events, networking functions, community engagements, and direct outreach efforts Partner with internal investment and advisory teams to ensure a seamless, high-quality onboarding experience Provide feedback on market trends and feedback on client needs Candidate Profile 10+ years of success in a client-facing, revenue-generating business development or consultative Demonstrated track record of originating new client relationships and achieving measurable business growth Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and families Strong relationship-building, networking, and presentation skills with the ability to engage high-net-worth individuals and professional referral sources An established network within MetroWest Boston, Cape Cod, Southern NH, and Coastal Maine Series 65 license preferred; candidates without the license must be willing and able to obtain it within a specified period after hire Bachelor’s Degree Industry Knowledge A general understanding of the needs of high-net-worth individuals and families Familiarity with wealth management and investment advisory services Demonstrated success in bringing in new clients Ability to consistently meet or exceed investment advisory revenue targets Existing relationships or strong familiarity with the target market regions – MetroWest Boston, Cape Cod, Southern NH, and Coastal Maine Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Highly self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset Strong closing ability and persistence Ability to operate independently in a field and office-based role Compensation Competitive compensation tied to: New client retained revenue generated from investment advisory fees Compensation tied to: New and closed strategic partnerships Upside: Substantial earning potential for high performers Work Structure Field and office-based presence, extensive time spent in the field meeting with prospects and referral sources, and building relationships Schedule driven by business development activity and client engagement High degree of autonomy with clear expectations for results and rewards Who This Role Is For Prefers substantial earnings potential over a fixed-based salary Enjoys the hunt and thrives on closing new business Has confidence in their ability to build a book of high-value client relationships Values long-term relationship building in addition to new business development Enjoys acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for clients over time #J-18808-Ljbffr Argonautica Private Wealth Management, Inc.
