Multimodality Tech (CT/X-Ray)
Seeking a Multimodality Tech (CT/X-Ray) to perform imaging procedures in an acute care hospital setting. The role involves working overnight shifts on a 3x12 schedule, providing essential diagnostic services within the Emergency Department/Urgent Care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT and X-ray imaging in accordance with protocols and safety standards.
- Assist with operational tasks within the ED/UC to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain equipment and prepare images for review by radiologists.
- Follow all radiation safety and documentation procedures, including providing a radiation badge.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, including charting in Epic and patient safety protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to deliver patient-centered care.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a radiologic technologist specializing in CT and X-ray procedures.
- Current ARRT certification in CT and general radiography.
- Valid BLS certification and South Carolina radiology license (or pending with proof of application).
- Radiation badge provided by the agency is mandatory.
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to emergency response during hurricane season.
- Willingness to accept local or out-of-town travel with compliance requirements.
