Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards. Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for seasonal dishes. Ensure all food handling and preparation meets food safety regulations and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the management team. Assist in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices. Skills Previous experience in a culinary or food service role is preferred. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. A passion for cooking and creativity in menu planning is highly desirable.
