We are a global team of bankers that works across all sectors advising investment banking clients on capital structure, credit ratings, capital allocation, and financial policy. The group is actively engaged in the origination and execution of transactions across all investment banking product groups. The FSG Investment Banking Analyst is responsible for preparing data-driven analytics, presentations, and advisory solutions for Citi’s corporate clients. We are looking for an analytical thinker with a quantitative background and prior experience or interest in corporate finance.Responsibilities:Work with senior bankers and participate in client transactions, projects and assignments as the junior member of the Investment Banking teamOrganize and analyze sophisticated financial data used in client proposals and strategic plansPrepare written recommendations, corporate finance materials and exhibits for pitches and live transactionsConduct economic and financial researchBuild complex financial and statistical modelsAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparencyQualifications:0-2 years of relevant experienceBachelor's or Master’s degree in a quantitative or financial field such as Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or another similar field with interest in corporate financeExperience with data analysis, financial modeling, and problem solvingConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment in order to meet deadlinesSeries 79 and 63 required within 150 days of joining.Education:Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a quantitative or financial fieldThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
