Insurance Sales Representative

Farmers Insurance – The Valley District is growing our Arizona team and looking for motivated, people-focused professionals who want to build a career in sales, develop their business skills, and create long-term growth opportunities.

This is more than a traditional insurance sales position. Depending on your experience, goals, and performance, there are multiple paths within our district, including becoming a high-performing sales professional, developing into leadership, or exploring a future path toward Farmers agency ownership .

You do not need to be currently licensed to apply. For the right candidate, our recruiting team will help guide you through the Arizona insurance licensing process.

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and comfortable working toward measurable goals
• Coachable with a willingness to learn and improve
• Organized with strong follow-through
• Comfortable making calls and building relationships with new people
• Sales, customer service, hospitality, recruiting, real estate, automotive, or other customer-facing experience is a plus
• Current insurance licensing is not required
• Candidates who are not licensed must be willing to obtain the required Arizona insurance licenses
• Interest in leadership, entrepreneurship, or business ownership is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Connect with prospective and existing customers to understand their insurance needs
• Educate customers on Farmers insurance products and coverage options
• Generate new business through leads, referrals, outbound activity, and relationship building
• Follow up consistently with prospective customers and maintain an organized sales pipeline
• Work toward daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals
• Participate in ongoing sales training, coaching, and professional development
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide a high level of service
• For candidates interested in future agency ownership, begin developing the sales, leadership, and business skills required to operate an agency
