About This Role The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab provides direct care for patients, focusing on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to achieve desired health outcomes. Highlights Location : Hackensack, NJ Facility : Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule : Full-time, Evening shift What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation. Perform age and disease‑specific assessments independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Develop and coordinate a patient/family‑focused plan of care. Communicate and implement the plan of care effectively. Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Administer medications utilizing advanced bar‑scanning technologies. Evaluate progress toward attainment of patient outcomes. Initiate interventions related to changes in patient condition. Adhere to established protocols and document events accurately. Requirements Education Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required. BSN in progress or willingness to acquire within three (3) years of hire. Experience Six (6) months of relevant nursing experience or participation in the Nurse Residency Program. Licenses & Certifications Current and valid Registered Nurse license in NJ. BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire. National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible.
