Responsibilities The Registered Nurse will be responsible for implementing the Nursing Process based on established Standards of Practice and ensuring all patient care policies and procedures are adhered to in accordance with Garnet Health Medical Center Hospital policies, the Nurse Practice Act, and the New York State Licensure requirements. The registered nurse will be able to exhibit critical thinking, effectively organize/prioritize accordingly, and implement evidence-based nursing. We invite and encourage each candidate to discuss salary / hourly specifics during the application and hiring process. The range for the role is $50.44 -$77.58 hourly. The range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits. When determining a team member’s compensation and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity) Qualifications Minimum Education: Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred. Minimum Experience: Cardiology/Telemetry experience preferred. Required Certification/Registration: Currently licensed and registered in NY State to practice as a registered professional nurse. Successful completion of BLS Provider Course. Successfully completes cardiac arrhythmia interpretation course within three months of hire. ACLS prior to hire preferred. Maintains all required certifications for the areas assigned. Physical Requirements: Position will primarily be medium to light work requiring lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling and reaching are required. Position requires 20% sitting and 80% standing or walking.
