Licensed Practical Nurse LPN Bonus

Westhaven, a senior‑care community that will soon be managed by Cassia, is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our dedicated care team. LPNs will provide hands‑on nursing care, administer medications, monitor resident health, and support individualized care plans in collaboration with a skilled clinical team. Position Type & Hours Part‑Time or Full‑Time. Hours vary and include evenings, nights, weekends, and alternate holidays. Shifts Evenings 2:00PM – 10:00PM (Full‑Time or Part‑Time) Nights 10:00PM – 6:00AM (Full‑Time or Part‑Time) Bonus Full‑Time: $5,000 bonus Part‑Time: $2,500 bonus Location 112 W 4th St, Boone, IA 50036 Responsibilities Displays courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff. Coordinates, oversees, and provides resident‑related care. Administers medications and/or treatments per physician orders and monitors effectiveness. Manages medications, supplies, and equipment, including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing per policy. Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software. Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident’s condition, and takes follow‑up action as necessary. Qualifications Current Iowa LPN license in good standing. CPR certification or willingness to obtain. Experience in long‑term care preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills.
