What You'll Be Doing

As a Service Foreman , you'll lead a two-person service crew while inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial roofing, siding, and sheet metal systems for customers throughout Wisconsin. Every day brings something different as you diagnose issues, solve problems, support your crew, and help deliver the world-class customer experience Wenger is known for.

You'll work with systems including:
  • Commercial roofing systems
  • Commercial siding systems
  • Sheet metal components
  • Flashing
  • Gutters and downspouts
  • Trim and edge metal
  • Sealants and waterproofing systems
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Leading and supporting a two-person service crew on commercial repair and maintenance projects.
  • Inspecting commercial roofing, siding, and sheet metal systems.
  • Diagnosing leaks, water intrusion, and exterior building issues.
  • Performing repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Reading work orders, drawings, and project specifications.
  • Safely operating hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, and other construction equipment.
  • Coordinating work with project managers while communicating professionally with customers.
  • Documenting completed work and repair recommendations.
  • Planning daily work activities and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to Wenger's quality standards.
  • Coaching and mentoring crew members while promoting a positive, team-first work environment.
  • Following OSHA regulations and Wenger Construction safety standards.
  • Representing Wenger professionally on every jobsite.
What We're Looking For

You'll be a great fit if you have:

  • At least 2 years of construction experience .
  • Commercial roofing, siding, or sheet metal experience preferred (we're willing to train the right candidate).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience reading blueprints and performing basic estimating is preferred.
  • Carpentry or sheet metal fabrication experience is a plus.
  • The ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and lead a small crew.
  • The ability to make sound decisions in the field and solve problems independently.
  • A positive attitude, dependable attendance, and a strong work ethic.
  • The ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 pounds and working at heights.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel to jobsites throughout Wisconsin.
