Collect and process donor samples for processing and testing Record the weight of product and samples Label samples and freeze units for final packing within the required timeframe Pack units for final shipment Pack samples and prepare shipping boxes for the testing laboratory Monitor stored products and report equipment working conditions Maintain active communication and quality Maintain accurate donor files Perform shipping and inventory-control responsibilities Requirements Superior customer service standards High School diploma or GED Ability to work a flexible schedule Interest in making a difference in the world Great organizational, computer, and troubleshooting skills Comfortable being exposed to extreme temperatures Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions Ability to listen to and understand spoken information Ability to stand for 4 to 6 hours per day Ability to perform bending, twisting, frequent hand and foot movements, and occasional squatting or crouching Ability to walk up to 1–2 hours per day Ability to lift 15 pounds occasionally, 25–35 pounds for 1–2 hours per day, and up to 50 pounds maximum Hearing acuity essential Correctable near and far vision requirements and color perception/discrimination Ability to use required personal protective equipment, including protective eyewear, garments, gloves, and cold gear Exposure to biological fluids, infectious organisms, electrical office and laboratory equipment, and extreme cold below 32°F Core Competencies Demonstrates strong organizational and troubleshooting skills while maintaining accurate donor files and ensuring quality communication.
