Respiratory Therapist

Position Overview Provides respiratory therapy procedures to patients with diverse needs and conditions, demonstrating clinical competencies and knowledge in adult, neonatal, and pediatric care. Evaluates clinical information through inspection, auscultation, patient history, blood gas analysis, and review of medical records. Reviews radiology reports, discusses care plans with physicians, and makes treatment recommendations. Monitors patient responses, performs procedures in accordance with best practices, and documents all interventions. Ensures equipment functionality, troubleshooting blood gas instrumentation, and maintains cleanliness. Participates in clinical instruction for allied health students and communicates pertinent patient information to the healthcare team. Performs other duties as assigned, supporting team collaboration and patient care excellence. Qualifications Must have completed an accredited Respiratory Therapist Program. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy. Licenses/Certifications required: Respiratory Care Practitioner license, Registered Respiratory Therapist license, and Basic Life Support (BLS), with BLS required within 30 days of employment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
