Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Nurse Practitioner - Pueblo, CO

Job Type: Full-Time Monday - Friday 8-hour day shifts (No weekends)

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide high-quality patient care in a clinical setting. This role is ideal for both experienced providers and new graduates (must have an active license and prescriptive authority).

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including medical and psychosocial history

Perform new patient consultations and routine follow-ups in collaboration with physicians

Examine patients, record symptoms, and make diagnoses

Order and interpret diagnostic and laboratory tests

Develop and implement treatment plans, including medications and therapeutic interventions

Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation using EMR systems

Educate patients on treatment plans and care management

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members

Follow clinic protocols, HIPAA, and OSHA guidelines

Maintain continuing education (CME) requirements per state regulations

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Active, unrestricted Colorado NP license

Open to new graduates with required licensure

Current DEA certification required.

Knowledge of pain management principles is strongly preferred

EMR proficiency
