Maintenance Electrician – Hourly Location: Natchitoches, Louisiana Date Posted: June 1, 2026 Category: Maintenance Position Summary Licensed Electrician or Journeyman’s Electrician. Responsibilities Troubleshoot electrical systems throughout the plant. Help maintain electrical equipment through preventive maintenance procedures. Assist in instituting new control systems. Research and develop better controls and electrical processes. Track and monitor recurring problems and provide solutions. Identify weaknesses in equipment related to electrical systems and develop solutions. Understand technical functionality of electrical equipment and train operators and maintenance technicians on operations and troubleshooting. Assist maintenance personnel in maintaining an efficient production operation and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Expectations for All Team Members Observe & enforce all company personnel, quality, safety, and food safety policies. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating effectively with customers, clients, coworkers, and leadership teams. Participate in process improvement and problem solving utilizing continuous improvement and rational thinking methodologies such as Six Sigma. Recognize and act on incidents and safety risks; consistently practice, enforce safe work habits and drive those habits throughout the organization. Educational and Experience Requirements Industrial Electrician License or Journeyman’s Electrician License with industrial electrical experience and extensive schematic reading capability.
