Finance Manager, North America Freight, Tariff & Duties Hybrid role based in Towson, MD; New Britain, CT; and Valley City, OH. This position plays a critical role within the Global Supply Chain Finance team, focusing on freight and tariff management. Responsibilities Drive financial performance by managing North America freight, tariff exposure, and mitigation strategies. Develop, maintain, and improve financial models for tariff mitigation and freight cost analysis. Manage forecasting for freight, tariff costs, and mitigation opportunities; guide projections and variance analysis. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and senior leadership to deliver actionable insights and support strategic decisions. Design and deliver presentations and reports summarizing key findings, risks, and recommendations. Partner with supply chain, procurement, and freight operations to identify and implement cost savings. Track regulatory changes, industry trends, and economic conditions; provide timely updates to leadership. Identify process improvements and cost efficiencies in expense management and financial analysis. Own and guide development of annual budgets and forecasted financial plans for tariff and freight expenses. Directly manage two Senior Financial Analysts. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; advanced degree (MBA, CPA, CFA, CMA) preferred. Minimum five years of financial analysis experience, preferably within a manufacturing company. Experience with freight markets and/or duties preferred. Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (Excel, etc.). Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills. Strong communication and presentation skills; able to explain complex financial concepts to non‑financial stakeholders. Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools (SAP, Power BI, Snowflake, Alteryx, Oracle). Experience as a people leader (2+ years) with proven ability to guide professional development. Ability to work independently and as part of a fast‑paced team. High attention to detail and accuracy. Benefits & Compensation Competitive salary range of $77,600 – $124,900 (annual).
