**Required Experience:** - Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, specifically with adult patients (medical, surgical, and cardiac needs) and some pediatric cases. - Epic experience within the last 12-months required, documented in profile. **Preferred Experience:** - Travel experience. - Previous Charge Experience. - Community Hospital Experience. **Certifications Required:** - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) **Skills:** - Accessing/Managing Ports - Arterial line management - Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal - BiPAP/CPAP management - Blood Product Administration - Care of Ventilated Patient - Central line care/management - Chronic/Acute Renal failure - Continuous IV sedation - CVA/Acute Stroke management - Emergency Medications - External ventricular drain (EVD)* - GI surgery - High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) - Infection Prevention - Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Isolation Precautions/PPE - IV insulin protocols - Management of dysrhythmias - Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure - Neuro Intensive Care Unit* - Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG - Phlebotomy - PICC line management - Post Neurosurgery management* - Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring - Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring - Sheath Removal - Spinal cord injury* - Starting and maintaining IVs - Suctioning (ETT, NT) - Surgical Intensive Care Unit* - Titrate Cardiac drips - Titrate Vasoactive drips - Traumatic Brain injury* - Ventilator Management **Licensure:** - Active compact or TN license required at time of submission. **Additional Requirements:** - Candidates must pass the Epic competency exam; only one attempt is allowed. - Two supervisory references are required at submission. - COVID-19 Vaccine and Flu Vaccine: Required, with limited exemptions.
